Creating Our Own Legacy

My husband, Dennis, and I come from a long line of family ranchers on both sides of the family. We may not be taking over for any one of them, but we are definitely following suit and creating our own legacy. The Hartsoch Ranch is a family ranching operation started from scratch in 2018.

It has been an adventurous few years!! We have built everything from the ground up! We started with trees and fields where we now have barns and corrals. We have pounded many posts and strung many miles of barbed wire. We have invested a lot of time, money, blood, sweat and tears to bring this dream into reality.

Our mission is to produce and raise quality, flavorful yet lean beef for our customers through a selective breeding and clean feeding program. We want our local customers to know their ranchers and enjoy their meat. And for all those we don't know, well, we hope they enjoy it too!

We currently raise and sell commercial red and black angus on the prairies of northwestern North Dakota. Plus a couple of kiddos that keep us on our toes.
